Các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến khuôn mẫu sử dụng thời gian làm việc nhà của người cao tuổi ở Thành phố Cần Thơ

Tóm tắt
Mục đích của bài viết là phân tích thực trạng và các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến khuôn mẫu sử dụng thời gian làm việc nhà của Người Cao Tuổi (NCT) ở Thành Phố Cần Thơ (TPCT). Dựa trên kết quả khảo sát 399 NCT từ 60 - 75 tuổi được lựa chọn ngẫu nhiên ở 06 quận/huyện của thành phố Cần Thơ, người cao tuổi dành một khoảng thời gian nhất định cho hoạt động làm việc nhà. Tham gia hoạt động này giúp NCT thể hiện vai trò với gia đình, tạo niềm vui và giảm định kiến xã hội về tuổi già. Để nhận diện các yếu tố có ảnh hưởng đến khuôn mẫu sử dụng thời gian cho hoạt động làm việc nhà, nghiên cứu cũng đã xây dựng mô hình hồi quy tuyến tính và mô hình cho thấy, thời gian sử dụng cho làm việc nhà của NCT trong tuần và cuối tuần khác nhau, tùy thuộc vào giới tính, tuổi, tình trạng việc làm, hoạt động sinh kế, và thu xếp cuộc sống. Đây là cơ sở quan trọng để các nhà quản lý xã hội tham khảo để có những chính sách hỗ trợ cho NCT, giúp họ “sống vui, sống khỏe và sống có ích”.
