Crisis management in the hospitality industry ensures business continuity and guest safety. Among Department of Tourism-accredited hotels in MIMAROPA, crisis preparation and prevention efforts highlight key strengths and gaps. This study, utilizing a descriptive quantitative approach, surveyed 290 hotel personnel from 205 hotels to assess crisis management strategies across prevention, preparation, and response. Findings indicate a strong emphasis on employee crisis training, evacuation plans, and emergency services activation. However, less priority is given to 24/7 spokesperson availability. The study recommends refining government performance metrics to better assess hotel preparedness, strengthening region-specific crisis response strategies, and exploring economic and operational factors influencing risk management. Future research should further investigate risk transfer and avoidance mechanisms, such as insurance coverage and risk-sharing partnerships, to enhance resilience in MIMAROPA’s hospitality sector.
