This study determined the comparison on the evaluation of student teacher’s performance of the BSED-MATH, BEED, and BTLED students in Cebu Technological University-Tuburan Campus for the school year 2017 - 2020. The key purpose of this research was to determine the performance of the student teachers based on the evaluation of the mentors in terms of (1) instructional design and planning; (2) learning environment; (3) instructional delivery and facilitation; (4) assessment; (5) professional responsibility and conduct. The research employed a descriptive survey approach, in which researchers collected data and information from the Student Teacher Coordinator to assess the performance of student teacher mentors. The tables show the scores based on the evaluation of the student teachers under the five factors in three consecutive school years. Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that there was a discrepancy in the result of the evaluation of the student teachers’ performance in the year 2019 - 2020, which is higher compared to the two previous years. It was also determined that the student teachers scored low on the factor under Instructional Delivery and Facilitation. It is recommended to conduct a Student Teacher’s Capabilities Program for all fourth-year students at Cebu Technological University to address the needs of the student teachers in terms of delivering and facilitating instructions.Downloads
