CALL FOR PAPERS: HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF SCIENCE 15TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL ISSUE 2006-2021

Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal of Science was officially established in 2006 as a multidisciplinary academic journal. In 2011, the Journal began to publish both English and Vietnamese articles.
From the very first beginning of its establishment until now, the Journal has constantly focused on encouraging the research based on the use of new methods & technologies; the studies’ results having significant impacts on local, regional, multinational, and international scales; the thorough and particular research analyzing the specific problems in identified socio-economic conditions, management mechanisms; less concerned fields.
After 15 years of establishment and development, the Journal now has six different specialized journals, including three specializations with two languages English and Vietnamese, and has constantly gained outstanding achievements. Scientific journals of the University are recognized by the State Council for Professor Title and included in the list of journals that are scored for scientific works (Economics and Business Administration: 0.75 points, Education: 0.75 points, Mechanics: 0.5 points); Philosophy, Sociology, Politics: 0.5 points, Biology: 0.25 points, Construction – Architecture: 0.5 points). In May 2021, the HCMCOU Scientific Journal ranked 13th, 36th, 40th, 43rd, 54th, 76th in English and Vietnamese Specialized Journals, including Economics - Business Administration; Engineering - Technology; Social Science; respectively, in the influential indicators’ rankings for scientific journals in Vietnam.
The year 2021 marks the 15th Anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal of Science. To commemorate this 15th anniversary, we will be publishing a special issue in SOCIAL SCIENCES.

Manuscript preparation and submission
Manuscripts should be fully written in professional English. Submitted papers must be original and may not have appeared in or be under consideration for publication elsewhere during the peer-review process in HCMOUJS.
