Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items. The submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines might be returned to authors .

1. All manuscripts must comply with the Journal's aims & scope;
2. The author(s) has carefully read and adhered to the policies (submission, review, editting);
3. All the manuscripts must comply with the Manuscript Formatting Guide of the Journal;
   
   • The length, font size;
   • The title, summary, keywords (in English and Vietnamese);
   • The tables, figures, data;
   • The citations;
   • The layout & spelling errors.
4. The author(s) must fully provide personal information of all authors (including full names, academic degrees, affiliations, positions, emails, phone, address) and other commitments if required.

The provided personal information will not be used and disclosed to any other parties for any purposes without the authors' consent.

Author Guidelines

1. Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal of Science - Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal launching qualified research projects of researchers and experts in various research fields within the scope of the Journal.


2. The submitted manuscripts must be original and not published or submitted for publication elsewhere (in the form of abstract only or full text; in printed or electronic version). The article will be also not allowed to submit to anywhere else until receiving a final decision from the Journal (rejected for publication).


3. The submitted papers must ensure all the Submission Checklist. To be well prepared for the submission process, Please kindly refer to the Author Guidelines for more information.


4. The manuscript is in Microsoft Word, font Times New Roman, size 12, not exceeding 7,000 words (about 15 pages typed in A4 size including references). Please kindly refer to the Manuscript Formatting Guide and Article Template for more information.


5. Authors’ information including full names, academic degrees, affiliations, positions, emails, phone, address, must be fully declared in the Cover Letter as well as when the manuscript is submitted on the online system of the Journal.


6. The Submission Policy, Review Policy, Editting and Publication Policy are full declared (including timelines for each phase).


7. No submission and publication fees are required.


8. Open access to all published articles (English - Vietnamese).


9. Readers and authors can ordering reprints by contacting the Journal’s Office.
