HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF SCIENCE CONTINUES TO BE INDEXED IN THE ASEAN CITATION INDEX AFTER RE-EVALUATION.

In 2023, the ASEAN Citation Index (ACI) is set to conduct a comprehensive re-evaluation of journals that have been previously approved for inclusion in its system. The outcome of this assessment was publicly disclosed on July 25, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand. The results revealed that among the 661 journals representing Southeast Asian countries, a total of 405 journals have successfully met the eligibility criteria, while 256 journals were not retained within the ACI.
Notably, Vietnam has achieved a commendable feat, with 20 out of its 26 journals emerging successfully from this rigorous re-evaluation process. This achievement encompasses two journals from the Science Journal of the Open University of Ho Chi Minh City: "HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF SCIENCE - ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION" (ISSN / E-ISSN: 2734-9314 / 2734-9586) and "HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF SCIENCE - SOCIAL SCIENCE" (ISSN / E-ISSN: 2734-9357 / 2734-9624).

From 01/01/2023, HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF SCIENCE would like to announce the provision of the article’s research datasets, specifically:
To comply with the Publishing Regulations of HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF SCIENCE regarding the article’s length, in addition to summarizing the research results and presenting them in the article, all manuscripts submitted to the Journal must be accompanied by the article’s research datasets.

On 15-11-2006, HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF SCIENCE was officially licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now named the Ministry of Information and Communication), under the printed license No.169/GP- BVHTT. On 15-09-2011, the Ministry of Information and Communications re-issued the printed press license under Decision No.1489/GP-BTTTT. After 15 years of being licensed to operate and develop as a multidisciplinary academic journal, the Journal has affirmed its role and position in the Vietnamese scientific journal community. During its 15-years journey of development, the Journal has also fulfilled its mission of being a forum launching qualified articles of scientists in various researches concentrations within the Journal’s scope. The Journal operates and develops gradually more integrated and indexed into the national/international citation data system. On 30-08-2021, with the consent of the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications re-issued the printed and electronic press license under Decision No. 559/GP-BTTTT.
