Tóm tắt
Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm xem xét tác động của doanh nghiệp địa phương lên ý định quay về làm việc tại vùng nông thôn của sinh viên. Phương pháp lấy mẫu thuận tiện qua hình thức trực tuyến được sử dụng để thu thập dữ liệu. Mẫu nghiên cứu bao gồm 606 sinh viên sinh ra và lớn lên ở vùng nông thôn, hiện đang học các chuyên ngành kinh doanh, quản lý và kinh tế tại các trường Đại học Mở Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Kết quả ước lượng từ Mô hình Cấu trúc Tuyến tính Tổng quát (GSEM) và Mô hình Cấu trúc Tuyến tính (SEM) cho thấy khi địa phương có nhiều doanh nghiệp thì sinh viên sẽ đánh giá cao cơ hội thành công trong việc tự sản xuất kinh doanh phi nông nghiệp và cơ hội tiếp cận được các việc làm hưởng lương tốt; từ đó thúc đẩy ý định quay về địa phương để làm việc. Dựa trên kết quả tìm được, nghiên cứu này đề xuất một số hàm ý chính sách có liên quan đến phát triển doanh nghiệp ở vùng nông thôn.
