Các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến thói quen đọc sách chuyên ngành của sinh viên: Trường hợp tại Trường Đại học Bách Khoa Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh

Bài báo này trình bày nghiên cứu về thói quen đọc sách chuyên ngành của sinh viên Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh và qua đó xác định các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến thói quen đọc sách. Mô hình nghiên cứu được đề xuất gồm có 8 nhân tố tác động lên thói quen đọc sách chuyên ngành của sinh viên là giảng viên, sinh viên, môi trường ở nhà, môi trường ở lớp, môi trường ở trường, môi trường xã hội, môi trường thế giới ảo và đặc điểm tài liệu. Với số mẫu khảo sát 503 sinh viên thuộc Ttrường Đại học Bách Khoa Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh cho thấy thói quen đọc sách của sinh viên ở mức thấp và có 5 yếu tố tác động có ý nghĩa thống kê lên thói quen đọc sách chuyên ngành của sinh viên là giảng viên, sinh viên, môi trường ở nhà, môi trường ở lớp, môi trường xã hội và môi trường thế giới ảo. Từ đây, bài viết đề xuất hàm ý quản lý nhằm khuyến khích thói quen đọc sách của sinh viên.
