1. What is manuscript/article ID?
Manuscript ID is a unique identifier assigned to each manuscript submitted to the Journal. It helps in tracking and managing the manuscript throughout the review and publication process. The ID is typically generated by the Journal's online submission system and is used for reference in all communications related to that specific manuscript. Usually, you can find this ID in the submission's URL or in the notification email from the Journal. For example, if the URL is https://journalofscience.ou.edu.vn/index.php/econ-en/authorDashboard/submission/3434, then the submission ID is 3434.
2. How do I upload files to the system? What should I do if my file becomes corrupted when I try to download it?
To successfully upload a file to the system, please make sure to follow the steps below:
In Step 1: Upload File, select the type of file you want to upload (manuscript, cover letter, or other files), upload file below then click Continue at the bottom left.
Note: If you click Cancel, the uploaded file may become corrupted when downloading. In this case, you must delete the corrupted file and upload a new one.

In Step 2: Review Details, you may rename the file to make it easier for both you and the editorial team to identify. Then click Continue.
Note: As in Step 1, if you click Cancel, the file may become corrupted and must be removed and re-uploaded.

In Step 3: Confirmation, click Complete or choose Upload Another File. To ensure your file was uploaded correctly, you may click the download icon to verify the file stored in the Journal system.

A common user error is clicking Cancel in Step 1 or Step 2, which results in a corrupted file that cannot be downloaded.
3. How do I update my ORCID on the system?
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a unique identifier that distinguishes researchers and links an author's academic profile to their research works. Providing your ORCID ensures your article is accurately identified across international databases. This is mandatory author information for your article to be published in the Journal.
Don't have an ORCID? Register for free at https://orcid.org/register - it only takes about 2-3 minutes.
When the corresponding author submits a manuscript or updates author information on the system (Publication tab), the corresponding author will be prompted to request ORCID confirmation for all authors.
Steps to follow:
The corresponding author logs in, opens the submitted manuscript, and navigates to the Publication tab.

In the contributor information editing interface, if ORCID has not been updated yet, the system will display as shown below.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the checkbox to send an ORCID confirmation email. Check the box and click Save. The system will send a confirmation request to the email address the author provided on the system.

Check your email, click the link provided, and log in to your ORCID account to confirm. Note: the link will expire within a few hours of being sent.

After successful confirmation, return to the contributor information editing interface - your ORCID will now be displayed as successfully updated.
