Under the theme “Educational Technology and Online Learning: Trends Driving the Next Wave of Digital Education”, ICETOE 2026 seeks to foster academic exchange and in-depth scholarly discussion on the design, governance, ethics, scalability, and sustainability of online and blended education in a context where digital technologies are generating profound transformations in teaching and learning. The conference aspires to serve as an international forum that brings together scholars, practitioners, administrators, and policymakers to share knowledge, experience, and innovative ideas for the future of digital education.
The Organizing Committee cordially invites authors to submit research papers aligned with the conference theme and areas of interest, including but not limited to:
- Emerging technologies in online education
- Learning analytics and data-driven decision-making
- The development and impact of MOOCs
- Digital competence for learners and educators
- Hybrid and blended learning models
- Cybersecurity and ethical issues
- Blockchain and digital credentialing
- Institutional strategies for scaling online education
- Application of AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants in education
The conference particularly welcomes studies that offer theoretical contributions, empirical evidence, methodological innovation, and practical implications, thereby strengthening the nexus between theory, practice, and policy in online education.
Regarding publication opportunities, authors are first required to submit an abstract for review. Accepted abstracts will be invited for presentation at the conference and for the subsequent development of a full paper. Submitted papers may then be considered for publication in a Special Issue of the Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal of Science (HCMCOUJS) or in the Conference Proceedings, subject to the outcomes of the peer-review and editorial evaluation process. At present, HCMCOUJS is indexed in ACI, DOAJ and RePEc.

- 22/08/2026: Full paper submission deadline
- 22/08/2026: Early bird registration deadline
